  14. INTRODUCTION
  15. =============
  16. This document lists all changes made through each revision of the program
  17. up to the current version (given at the top of this page).

  22. You might need to rebuild your desktop to use Obliterate, and if you have
  23. used Obliterate before, you’ll need to do this to see the new icon.
  24.  
  25. CHANGES

  27. Unless otherwise noted, changes are bug fixes or modifications to the
  28. original version.

  32. • Added alert to double-check deletion of entire volumes

  34. • Reworded alias warning alert

  36. • Added balloon help for the Finder

  38. • Fixed a few small bugs

  40. •  Added NEW 7.0 PLUS Utilities about box

  44. •  Added a preference to allow the user to hide the status dialog when
  45.     trashing items.

  47. •  Fixed a bug in the cataloging routine to fix the command-. abort
  48.     routine (I hope).

  50. •  Added a button to the “Verify Obliteration” alert to let the user
  51.     shred documents without changing the preferences.
  52.  
  53. •  Modified the alert to say that aliases dropped directly into the
  54.     program are resolved by the Finder and, since Obliterate isn’t told
  55.     about it, the Parent is deleted. Aliases in directories are not
  56.     resolved.
  57.  
  58. •  Fixed (knock on wood) the bug causing the address errors on Classics
  59.     in shred mode.
